Open for Entries


Entries can now be made for the Norwegian O-Festival 2011! Select "Entries" in the menu on the left to find links to the different classes. The deadline for entries is Monday 13th June 2011.

Classes and courses Sunday


On Sunday there will be relay races for W/M13-16 and W/M-Open. Participants who are 15 years or older can compete in W/M-Open.

For 12 year-olds and younger, there will be a team competition, with 3-5 runners per team.

For those lacking a team, there will be a long Middle Distance race for individual entries.

Planned course lengths are shown in the table.

World Cup


The finals of the Nordic Orienteering Tour take place on Saturday evening at the Norwegian O-Festival. The finals are organised as a chasing start based on the results from the first two races in Finland and Sweden.

Classes and courses Friday


See the table below for the classes on offer for Friday's race.
The courses for youth classes and for both junior and senior elite classes will be sprint courses in an urban area with pockets of forest.

Welcome to the Norwegian O-Festival 2011!


The Norwegian O-Festival 2011 will be held 24th-26th June on the northern end of the Nesodden peninsula, just a short boat ride from the centre of Oslo. The event will be organised by the Oslo and Akershus O-Festival Alliance, with support from the local clubs Måren OK and Nesodden IF. The arena for all three days will be at Berger.


Friday 24th June Sprint/Short Middle Distance
Saturday 25th June Long Distance. World Cup, Nordic Orienteering Tour Finale
Sunday 26th June Relay for M/W 13-16 and M/W-Open, plus Long Middle Distance for individual entries in the usual classes.

O-Camp within walking distance from the arena.
